Children's Dyslexia Center Of Milwaukee

A Scottish Rite, Masonic and Community Partnership

Enrollment
Children who are having reading difficulties and are suspected of having dyslexia must be tested by a licensed psychologist (school or independent) before they apply for tutoring at our center.  The application form must be returned to the center with a copy of the complete psychological evaluation in order for the child to be considered for our program.

After acceptance to our Center, services are made available to children ages 6 to 18, on a first come, first served basis. Using the Orton-Gillingham method of phonics instruction, students receive two 50-minute tutoring sessions per week in a one-on-one setting. Most students are tutored for an average of two years.

Because we maintain a waiting list, a strict attendance policy must be observed.

If you would like to apply to have a child tutored at the Children's Dyslexia Center-Milwaukee, please call 414-765-9189  or email us at Milwaukee@cdcinc.org for an application packet. Complete the paperwork and mail with the required testing/evaluation documentation to:
